ASLcleaningservices terms of agreement

Day of clean

On the day of your scheduled clean please make sure clutter has been cleared to ensure a more thorough clean. Please have as many items picked up and packed away as possible. Please also have the kitchen sink clear of dishes as more than a few will not be washed. In the event of excessive clutter a reassessment of price may be evaluated.

Our satisfaction guarantee

Client satisfaction is guaranteed and in the event you are not completely satisfied with any of our service we wil come back and re-clean the area within 24 hours or offer a partial refund. Unfortunately complaint shared after the 24-hour Mark are not covered by our satisfaction guarantee and therefore may not be covered.
ASL cleaning is not a responsible for not completing or providing the arranged service as a result of breach of warranty by the customer ( including a failure to provide utility services, a safe working environment or unencumbered access to the premises) not proceeding for health and safety reasons; not completing or providing the Service due to an act or omission of the Customer or any other person at the Premises during provision of the Service; existing dirt, wear, damage or stains that cannot be completely cleaned or removed; any wear or discoloring of fabric or surfaces becoming more visible once dirt has been removed; or the cost of any key replacement or locksmith fees, unless keys were lost by ASL or the Cleaner.

payments

At ASLcleaningservices as soon as you book your service an invoice will be sent, this is required to be paid at least 2 hours before the job. Please note failure to make this payment will mean the cancellation of your service and a cancellation fee. Payments includes debit card, bank transfer and cheques.

Appointment times/Being home


ASL cleaning services prides itself on being punctual however unforeseen circumstances can affect arrival time. If we happen to be running late to your appointment you will be contacted as soon as possible and provide it and you expected time of arrival. 
You are more than welcome to stay home drawing the clean after all it is your home! However we ask you please be mindful and stay in a separate room. Also we will not re clean any area due to family or pets.

Photos and videos

If you have agreed for ASL to take pictures and videos for promotional services your personal information will not be compromised.

Lifting

We do not use ladders or move anything heavier than 20lbs - 50lbs, as this can put our cleaners in danger of harming themselves or causing damage to your home. If you would like us to clean behind appliances such as ovens please move it prior to the cleaning visit.

Lock outs

In the event that our cleaning associates arrive and are unable to access the premises a £50 fee will be charged to cover lost time and travel expenses, your invoice for the job will also be paid back to you.

Late cancellations

Any appointment cancelled less than 25 hours before will be charged a £35 cancellation fee. If you have already paid for the job the money will be sent back to you within in 3 hours.

Job price

All invoices will be sent and paid prior to the job if any services are added an updated invoice will be sent after the job and you are expected to pay within 72hours.

Payment terms 

The Customer agrees to pay the price quoted by ASLcleaningservices in full at least 2 hours before the job unless otherwise agreed in advance with ASL or extra services have been added, in whichthenew invoiceshouldbe paid within 72 hours. If no payment has been made within the 2 hours before the service then the service will be cancelled, and if new add ons have not been paid within the 72 hours ASLcleaningservices will use reasonable endeavors to contact the Customer for payment. In the event that ASL cannot contact the Customer or payment is not made within 72 hours, The Customer agrees on a late payment fee of £15. Interest will be charged on the fixed rate of 10% per annum on each day that any amount remains outstanding thereafter. In addition to the amounts set out above, the Customer agrees to indemnify ASLcleaningservices for all legal costs (on a solicitor and own client or full indemnity basis, whichever is greater) and other expenses incurred by ASL in connection with a demand, action, or other proceeding (including mediation, out of court settlement or any action taken for recovery of debt from the Customer) arising out of a breach of these terms including the failure by the Customer to pay an amount by the due date.

Termination 

Contract can be terminated by the customer providing 3 weeks notice. ASLcleaningservices may terminate this Agreement by providing the Customer with the same 3 week notice prior to the Service Time. ASLcleaningservices may terminate this agreement with immediate effect if the Customer is in breach of this agreement, and in the opinion of ASL that breach is incapable of remedy.
